About

Jannie Cole, MS, LPC, TAC

Hi, I’m Jannie–

I am a small-town Arkansas native, who is infinitely curious about life and people.

I’m a counselor by training, but I also call myself an advocate, a connector, a researcher, and a student of life. I am passionate about people (and dogs) and I love helping others find meaningful connection.

I have about ten years of post-masters experience in the mental health field, in a variety of settings, including clinical services, program development, and in population-level interventions. I am an Adlerian at heart, though I have also received advanced training in EMDR, Technology Assisted Counseling, and a variety of CBT protocols.

One of my favorite quotes states: “We are what we believe we are.” When we hold negative beliefs (i.e. “I am not safe,” “I am not in control,” “I am to blame,” “I am not good enough,” etc.), our entire life experience is altered. Unlocking these beliefs, and creating more adaptive ones allows for healing. As a therapist, one of my primary goals is to assist clients with this.

In my free time, I enjoy being with my family and friends, being outdoors, cooking, reading, and trying new things.
